32. Been on a cruise (actually have NO desire to go on a cruise, unless it’s a Windjammer Barefoot cruise)

34. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors (does this mean European ancestors? Or couple-of-generations-ago ancestors? No to European, yes to the other.)
35. Seen an Amish community (although I’ve been in areas where you can see the Amish driving their buggies around)
36. Taught yourself a new language
37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied (This is tough. I am SO PLEASED to not be dirt poor, like I was growing up, and in many ways, I am immensely satisfied. Yet, there are a number of items I would like to buy that we simply don’t have the $$ for, so am I truly satisfied? Perhaps not.)
38. Seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person
39. Gone rock climbing (just rock scrambling; not true face climbing or anything like that)
40. Seen Michelangelo’s David
41. Sung karaoke
42. Seen Old Faithful geyser erupt
43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant
44. Visited Africa
45. Walked on a beach by moonlight
46. Been transported in an ambulance (felt so lame doing so; it was because I was visibly pregnant and involved in a small accident in which I was rear-ended.)

49. Seen the Sistine Chapel in person
50. Been to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris

75. Been fired from a job (so embarrassing… from a work/study job in college, even! Had other responsibilities that conflicted with my job schedule, and my boss wouldn’t change my job schedule, so I kept being late.)

77. Broken a bone
78. Been on a speeding motorcycle
79. Seen the Grand Canyon in person
80. Published a book
81. Visited the Vatican
82. Bought a brand new car
83. Walked in Jerusalem (the closest I’ve come is really enjoying episodes of The Naked Archaeologist — no, he’s not really naked — on History International channel… the guy mostly covers Biblical archaeology. Saw an episode last night, in fact!!)

85. Read the entire Bible
86. Visited the White House
87. Killed and prepared an animal for eating (does slaughtering chickens count? I didn’t chop off their heads, but I did about everything else. Or fishing, then gutting the fish? Does that count? I’ve done that a billion times.)

90. Sat on a jury
91. Met someone famous (quasi-famous, I guess)
92. Joined a book club

96. Swam in the Great Salt Lake (no, but I flew over it while flying in to Salt Lake City!)

Hmm, typed a long diatribe about the snarky hs moms and then I accidentally deleted it…maybe it is best. Been there, done that, one reason I put the kids in school is the difficulty I had in socializing with these women and kids.
So….I hope your hs group goes better this time.
