I found out last night that my…

…unique, bright, hilarious, fun-loving, hard-working, easy-going, insightful, hot-after-God kinship* leader was…

HOMESCHOOLED from preschool through 12th grade.

Hm… Might there be a causal relationship between his background, and his present admirable character??? One wonders.

About Karen Joy

I'm a partially-homeschooling mother of six -- 3 boys ages 19, 17 and 15 years old, and three girls: 11, 8, and 3. I like birding, reading, writing, organic gardening, singing, playing guitar, hiking, the outdoors, and books. I very casually lead a very large group of homeschooling families in the Phoenix area. I have a dear hubby who designs homes for a local home builder and who is the worship pastor of our church. I live in the desert, which I used to hate, but now appreciate.

  1. As tempting as it may be to forget, remember that correlation does not prove causation. But influential? Likely [smile]. And just because correlation does not prove causation, that does not mean that there isn’t a causal correlation [laughing].

…sorry, I just felt like rambling. My comment is mostly meaningless.

    • Your comment is not meaningless! I like when you ramble! No problem.

I actually debated which term to use: causal or correlated. I went with causal because I was hopeful, and half-joking. Still, I’m always thrilled to meet a well-spoken, well-educated, successful homeschooled grown-up. It gives me hope.
