On my to-do list

Stop being intimidated by women who do things better than I do, and instead, be inspired.

(This may take a while.)

About Karen Joy

I'm a partially-homeschooling mother of six -- 3 boys ages 19, 17 and 15 years old, and three girls: 11, 8, and 3. I like birding, reading, writing, organic gardening, singing, playing guitar, hiking, the outdoors, and books. I very casually lead a very large group of homeschooling families in the Phoenix area. I have a dear hubby who designs homes for a local home builder and who is the worship pastor of our church. I live in the desert, which I used to hate, but now appreciate.

  1. I’ll try to join you on that one. Great advice! And yes, it will take me quite a while to achieve that too.

Not a bad goal. I guess I should make one but it’s often hard to look past the chaos and see light shining.

  3. How funny to see this post pop up in my inbox since I JUST wrote a post on women and how I “don’t like them” 🙂

Inspired! Now that’s a great word for it. God’s been teaching me over the past couple of years how I need other women and YES, it’s taking a while!

  4. Oh my, yes. How often do I get discouraged rather than inspired. I’m happy to add that to my to-do list… which means: Thanks for inspiring me [smile].
