Note to self
You get a lot more done around the house when you don’t even turn on the computer until 3:00.

the sun came out this morn' without fanfare...
a greying blanket covered all the vale.
instead of forcing its warmth-giving face
to pull the cover back and dry the damp,
it moved on higher, leaving undisturbed
the clouds that bless'd our morning with light drops,
and let its light shine dimly on the land
as filtered through a cloth, soft on the eyes.
The raindrops sprinkle glasses, windshield, face.
i feel afresh the touch of Heav'nly grace
that such as i could be so bless'd in this,
a simple shower, making my heart glad.
the overcast that met me at my door
has made me smile upon this fine, wet day.

haha! I can definitely relate to that. 😉
Haha. So true.
We did yard work yesterday when I got home from work, so my computer didn’t go on until 8:30pm.
Of course, all of my work is done online, so if I want to do any work I have to have my computer on [smile].

Ha ha! I’ve been sitting here since after lunch, it’s now time for dinner. There isn’t much else I can accomplish with a crabby baby 🙂
yeah… i have that SAME issue! lolololol… i should post that on my fridge!!
Isn’t that the truth! Besides that, if you’re computer is where you work you get a lot more done if you don’t check your email or your blog first… because one thing inevitably leads to another and before you know it you have a whole day shot to hell. On the other hand, on the days I manage to stay away from the computer, when I get back I have too much email to wade through and it becomes like the snail mail that piles up near the computer. Case in point, I just logged on real quick, as I’m on my way out the door, to check ONE thing and somehow found myself at a pretty cool blog I’ve never visited before. OK I really gotta go NOW!
Um, thanks for the “pretty cool blog” flattery… (I’ve had problems with athiest trolls, given my usually notably Christian content, so please forgive my hesitancy in approving your comment; I’m slightly concerned about to what/whom I’ve opened the comment-floodgates. I’ll assume, for now, that you’ve come to play nice.)
I play nice, though I would prefer not being called an atheist troll :(. I happened upon your blog because I noticed link, on my blog, to this particular post and as I mentioned I was in a hurry so I didn’t even notice how old the post was or that your blog was a Christian blog. The post was great and totally relevant to my life (see we have stuff in common already) and the name of your blog, to me, is very cool.
No… I didn’t mean to call you a troll. I was, however, confessing concern. Due to a few posts, one particular guy posted relentlessly, ridiculing just about every part of my character and interests and beliefs. On top of that, he called my blog to attention of a number of other athiests, and they had a wee bit of a heyday, until I put the comments on moderation and placed several IP addresses on the blocklist. 😦
I was trying (albeit, perhaps not too hard) to give you the benefit of the doubt; I didn’t know for certain that you were one of the previous troll’s cronies, but I was concerned that you might be.
I apologize for my assumptions. It’s hard to find the balance of where wisdom lies in such matters. I hope you understand.
So, welcome! 🙂 And, I’m glad you like my ungainly blog title, and that that little post caught you just right!
I don’t know who caused your problems, I had a similar situation on my blog. The only cronies I have are respectful and post what they like on their own blogs but they nor I are of the ilk that just go and attack other bloggers…we’re way too busy being distracted and not getting things done than to engage in such nonsense.
